EnergyPlus 7.2 and TMY3

I was wondering what versions of EnergyPlus are compatible with TMY3 weather data. Namely, using EnergyPlus 7.2 would be ideal since that is what the DOE reference buildings were made in.

EnergyPlus reads EPW (EnergyPlus Weather) files. The files hosted on DOE's webpage specify the source of the weather data (e.g., TMY2, TMY3, IWEC).
