What kind of compliance modeling can Open Studio perform?

What kind of compliance modeling can Open Studio perform in the United States? Does it comply with the IECC, Title 24, Florida or NY Code? Can EnergyPlus and Open Studio give compliance report that are accepted by every states?

It complies with the requirements of the IECC and NY Code. However, EnergyPlus and OpenStudio can give you a lot of outputs that might not be the preferred format of the AHJ. For example, some jurisdictions use this spreadsheet that you would have to fill out from the input and output reports.

Title 24 and Florida use an approach to approving software instead of listing software requirements (like 90.1 and IECC do), so you need to use software from their approved list. Nevertheless, for California, both CBECC-Res and CBECC-Com are OpenStudio based (but not pure OpenStudio, so you need to use the appropriate platform).

Just wanted to clarify that CBECC-Res is NOT OpenStudio-based -- it uses the California Simulation Engine (CSE) for energy simulations.

CBECC-Com is OpenStudio-based (it uses the OpenStudio SDK, not the OpenStudio Application).
