Beginner Modeler in OpenStudio here. I am trying to add exterior equipment to my model but for some reason the button is disabled. Tried searching the forums and the internet with no luck. See picture below for reference. Thanks in advance for the help!
When that feature was first added it either worked through the plus icon, or for some objects through a pre-loaded object in "Library" that can be dragged in. It appears this issue is known and has been merged into the code but is not be in an installer yet https://github.com/openstudiocoalitio...
In the mean time you can use the add exterior lights measure to add exterior lights. Once the measure has been run (if you use apply measures now) you will be able to inspect and alter that object in the exterior equipment sub-tab.

@elmofudd what simulation tool are you using? Please list the tool as a tag and mention it in your title or question text. It also looks like your image didn't upload correctly.
