energyplus weather file

There isn't an .epw in E+ database for the location I wanna work in. So, I downloaded the files of the nearest location, converted it to csv, and edited the data based on weather data.

Now I have an .epw, but I am not satisfied with the results. So, after simulation the outdoor temperature in variables summary are very different than the weather data.

Has anybody any successful experience in converting/creating weather file?

Hi, I've always worked (very fine) through the WeatherConverter E+ auxiliary software with a simple TXT file (filled with data from a spraedsheet) and DEF file (filled with the conversion instructions).

You may find useful looking at Elements software; it depends up to the magnitude og the modifications you need to do.

Hi,

It´s not entirely clear to me whether you are starting with an EPW, so just in case I´ll give you a couple of sources where you can find/buy them.

As Ag mentions, once you have the EPW, Elements is a very reliable way of editing them.
