If there is a hole on the external wall, how could I set up the model in honeybee?

I would like to set up a model of a corridor which is open on one side, blowing air and solar get into the zone. I know there is no way to create a hole in Energyplus. I have two ideas right now, but I am not sure they could work correctly. The first one is set external wall of the corridor as air wall. The second is to set the whole corridor as the context or shading object. I don't know if this idea is feasible, and wonder if there are other ways to do it? Thanks.

I would approach this by modelling a verry large operable window with a transmittance of nearly 1, controlled by a schedule and set to be always open. Not sure if the schedule option is available in HB. What I do know for sure is that you can use a temperature setpoint to control the opening of windows in HB. So, if you set that to something verry low the window will always be opened.

The simpler alternative would be to use a window with a transmittance of ~1 and assume a verry high infiltration rate.

You cannot (or shouldn't be able to) set an external wall to air wall in honeybee. An airwall is used for interzone surfaces only. It will be translated to an opaque construction with a low thermal resistance and capacitance. Additionally it will create an interzone airexhcange object which exchanges air between the two adjecent zones. This is not possible if there is only one zone.

Changing the whole corridor into shading object is only fine if you are not interested in the temperature of the corridor itself. You then assume the temperature of corridor is the same as the outside air termperature.
