Different temperatures variations for different time steps

Hi, im new in the energy plus simulations. I am simulating different types of heating schedules, however for the same model i get different temperature varitons in the same time period when simulating with different time steps (60 and 6). Why is that happening ?

Could you give some more detail about what you are seeing vs what you expect to see? Simulating with different timesteps is expected to show more detail in the response to heating schedule changes.

From my understanding, simulation time step means how frequent the system does the calculation in one hour (one hour here means the hour in simulated model but not the real time). That is why you will have different temperature variations in the same time period. I believe the differences among these variations should be small.
