designbuilder geometry slow update

When using designbuilder to create geometry, to select, etc. there always seems to be a 2-7 seconds delay for DB to finish the command. The cursor changes during this time and nothing can happen until this period passes. I find this always happen when I want to create a block, when I want to select an item, or deselect an item, etc.

I have tried it on 3 different computers (1 of them very recent and with a good graphics card, CPU, memory, etc) and seen others use DB having the same delay. I have also played around with the graphics card settings as suggested by the DB knowledgebase, I have also turned off the learning mode. The problem is still there.

Is there any way that this can be overcome? It is a windows/computer settings issue, or is this how the software always works? In the official (a few years old now) DB video tutorials, the delay is negligible. Some other DB tutorials online though do show this delay.

It is possible that this is caused by your machine/s defaulting to the lower-spec graphics settings/options. DesignBuilder customers with licenses who experience issues like this (or any other obvious technical support issue) should contact our technical support team (or whoever you bought the software from) who are there to help provide guidance and resolve these issues quickly for you.
