I created a restocking schedule from the Schedule tab (default, summer peak, and winter peak). The daily values are between 0 and 90 (I'm not sure of the units). I defined the schedule properly when I created it.
I then created an open display refrigeration case, but the case will not accept the restocking schedule (i.e., nothing appears in the field when I try to select it).
What's going on? Have I made an error?
OpenStudio is fairly picky (probably overly picky) about the types of schedules that are allowed for different objects. I assume you are talking about the Refrigerated Case Restocking Schedule of the OS:Refrigeration:Case object. The type of schedule allowed for this field is specified here as 'LinearPowerDensity'. Currently, there is no good way to change the schedule type limits on a schedule after it is created. You can open the OSM in a text file, find the schedule type limits associated with your schedule and make sure its Unit Type is set to LinearPowerDensity.
Units for your schedule should be in W/m or W/ft depending on your unit preferences
I checked that - it is being defined as a LinearPowerDensity curve when I open/create the new schedule. Also, I tried exporting the model to an IDF file, and confirmed also that the definition was LinearPowerDensity. However, the refrigerated case object still cannot import the schedule, whether I am in regular view or grid view. All other schedules, the case accepts.
Could this be a bug of some sort in this version? Oh, and the units are correct, too - kg/m/s^3, i.e., Newtons/seconds/meters (Watts per meter). Thanks,

@Dan Briller, it could very well be a bug, I'd ask @Kyle Benne or @aparker to investigate and file an issue if they find something
