glare sensors and views

I have 3 glare sensor and for each sensor, I defined 8 views but in the results, I get the DGPs values only for one of the sensors. Is there any possibility to have the DGPs results for more than one sensor?

@eldav, I assume this is an 'openstudio' question based on questions you have asked previously.

This is a case where OpenStudio allows for more flexibility than EnergyPlus.

EnergyPlus only allows one Daylighting:Controls object per zone. That object has fields for up to two reference points but only has one field for 'Glare Calculation Azimuth Angle of View Direction Clockwise from Zone y-Axis'. Reading the Engineering Reference I'm not sure if glare calculations happen at both references points or not.

When using Radiance for daylighting calculations, OpenStudio is not limited to two daylighting reference points for each zone and it is not limited in the number of directions that glare calculations occur in. So the additional views you are looking for are only available if you use Radiance as your daylighting simulation engine.

I used Openstudio and Radiance as the daylighting engine and used 3 glare sensor for the zone with 8 views per each glare sensor. But, in the GLR file, the results are only for one glare sensor for 8 views and there are no results for the other 2 sensors in the zone.

@eldav is right; there is an issue with the OpenStudio daylight metrics reporting in that only one glare sensor output is reported. @eldav, could you change your "answer" above to a comment, since that's really what that is? Thanks, and we'll get that issue into the backlog and fixed ASAP.
