Building energy model calibration

I have a question about simulation of the DX cooling coil in a minute level in EnergyPlus. My simulation and measured data agree well for the hourly level. However, as I try to model them in a one minute level (data exist both hourly and one-minute level), EnergyPlus provides the simulation results which are totally different than the measured data. Actually, in measured data for the DX cooling coil, we can observe some sort of on/off behavior in the data. Is that possible to have on/off behavior by EnergyPlus.

I mean instead of PLF that we usually have in EnergyPlus and system works part load.

EnergyPlus models HVAC equipment with part-load performance curves. It is not meant to model HVAC cycling and controls at the <3 min level or less. If you want to compare HVAC equipment and controls at a high temporal resolution, you'll need to use some other software such as the Modelica Buildings Library.

The next major version update to EnergyPlus Spawn of EnergyPlus is in development and will allow users to incorporate Modelica controls and definitions for HVAC equipment.

Hello, i recommend do the calibration with the comparation of the average measured and average simulated hourly data, with this you can reduce the ranges of each day and do a most representative calibration because you use average data
