Unmet heating and cooling hours question

I'm experimenting with energy modeling using Openstudio through Honeybee. I modeled a building and I used the ideal air load system. I got some unmet heating and cooling hours. Shouldn't an ideal air load system yield 0 unmet heating and cooling hours considering it is ideal (energy coming in the zone = energy going out of the zone)? Am I misunderstanding something here!

@Arch2010 could you post a link to your model?

The ZoneHVAC:IdealLoadsAirSystem can also be used to model a real system. For "ideal" modeling make sure the inputs for Cooling Limit and Heating Limit are set to "NoLimit" and that the Cooling/Heating Availability Schedule input fields are blank (always available). If this still produces unmet hours, plot zone temp, zone set point temperature and unmet hours reports (then zoom in on a few days) to see when this is happening.

@rraustad, I didn't know that I have to set the cooling and heating limit to no limit. Thanks!
