OpenStudio - SketchUp extension interior partition

Since I'm having trouble creating my own openstudio model, I'm trying to replicate the NREL Openstudio basic workflow tutorial on youtube. However, the tutorial is outdated and I'm not sure how to make interior partition with SketchUp. Is the OpenStudio SketchUp extension the same as Euclid?

I also looked online at the openstudio website and other guides, but I just couldn't find it.

I would suggest you look at this question and the answer (here), so you don't confuse the OpenStudio plugin for Sketchup with Euclid (the new name for the legacy OpenStudio plugin). Euclid is meant to create geometry only for EnergyPlus (.idf, it does not create a .osm file). The OpenStudio plugin creates geometry and can also help you edit inputs.

When you create geometry in Euclid you must create each zone individually, you cannot add interior partitions. The partitions are created after you put two zones adjacent to each other and do surface matching.

You can open the Euclid user guide from inside SketchUp by selecting Extensions > Euclid > Legacy OpenStudio User Guide.

Euclid is Legacy OpenStudio (OS) Plugin. When you install OS It installing the OS plugin for SketchUp as well. You should be able to follow the basic workflow tutorial (though yes, some things has changed). In order to create interior partition you must select the space you need to insert the surface in, then to select the insert new interior partition surface group. (see the picture below). image description

A new group will be created inside your space, select it and draw the surfaces you need.
