Export Construction Materials from IDF to SDD for CBECC-com California Compliance Tool

Hello

I am trying to use an idf file for CBECC-com tool. Here is my workflow:

1) Import my idf file (generated in DesignBuilder) to OpenStuido 2) Export as SDD 3) Import in CBECC-com

Although all my thermal zones are transferred to CBECC-com successfully, my construction materials did not come through. I defined materials layer by layer in DesignBuilder, which is in EnergyPlus language. I expected to see them in CBECC-com, but it did not happen. As I see in CBECC, my construction layers do not have any U-value assigned to them. I would like to ask if anyone knows a solution to this or has any suggestion for me. I appreciate your input in advance. Ladan

here is my idf file:

CBECC-Com uses it's own predefined library of materials and constructions. You would need to define the layers and constructions after importing SDD into CBECC-Com. Tutorials for this can be found at: http://bees.archenergy.com/Documents/...

Thank you for your response. I was hoping to (expecting to) see some inter-connection between Eplus and CBECC-com. It seems that I was wrong and I will not be able to use construction data from my IDF file for CBECC-com model. I assume that my internal loads and lighting power densities could not be understood by CBECC-com either.

Thanks ladan
