Hello All, Just wondering, is there a way I can model a single blind for more than one window in Design Builder or EnergyPlus. Assume there is two windows side by side and there is a small gap between them (this can be brick gap or metallic frame), is there any way I can model a single blind, which will obviously cover the small gap between windows?

If you define these as two separate windows, then the answer is no. In EnergyPlus there is a one-to-one relationship between a blind or shade and a window surface. I would suggest combining the two windows into a single window surface and then define a frame and divider object with a vertical divider that represents the gap material.

In EnergyPlus the object is WindowProperty:FrameAndDivider. How this is done in DesignBuilder, I cannot answer, but I'm sure it's in there. It is modeled as a single window with a frame and/or dividers (vertical and/or horizontal).
Thanks mate, actually I am interested in a method which will consider two windows instead of one window because I am considering natural ventilation/air flow from one window keeping second window as fixed (not openable).
In that case, you will need two blinds.
