How to batch baseline models automatically?

I find that there is a measure named "Create DOE Prototype Building", and I want to use this measure to create baseline models. I need all the building types and climate zones listed in the measure, and I will use template 90.1-2004. Therefore, I have to create more than 200 models. Are there any existing methods to do this work automatically? If not, could you please recommend me some methods to batch the models? Thanks.

The best solution for you today is the OpenStudio analysis spreadsheet. It uses Excel as an interface to define a problem an parameter space.

If you can wait a until the end of March our next release of PAT 2 will be out which adds the ability sweep across climate zones using the Prototype or other measures. It is also supports the algorithmic analysis.

If you only wanted to sweep across building types and vintages then PAT 1 would work. It has issues sweeping across climate zones.

I swept across climate zone in PAT 1, and it works. However, I changed the building type (from small office 90.1-2004 5A to primary school 90.1-2004 5A) by using the measure, "Create DOE Prototype Building" in PAT 1. Some errors were caused, and the EUI is different from the EUI of the same model just created by applying measure, "Create DOE Prototype Building" in OpenStudio. Could PAT 2 avoid to cause such errors?

My guess is that PAT 1 is using the weather file of whatever your baseline model is, and not what you choose in the Prototype measure. That would explain why you get different EUI running primary school in OS app and PAT.
