The wall will be internal/external/in the middle of the line?

I'm drawing in Skethup for example an exterior wall that has a lenght of 20 meters, I would like to know if the line I'm drawing is the exterior line, the interior line, or the middle line of the wall. I don't know, in other words, from where OpenStudio will put the wall-layers when I will import the model in OS. For understanding better, the BIM software Revit does this differentiation when you draw the wall, defining if the line I'm drawing is the outer boundary of the wall, the inner boundary, or the axis line (in the middle).

It doesn't matter. Make sure the difference between buildings' floor area and the original (design) floor area less than a small number, for example 3%.

See if this post answers your question.The short answer is that while most materials in EnergyPlus do have a known thickness, that EnergyPlus doesn't have different ways to tag thin line geometry to a position within the wall construction such as face of stud center line, or finished surface like Revit does. There are just accepted practices such as modeling to outside of exterior walls and the centerline of interior walls. The Frame and Divider object does add more control to framing around windows.
