Hi, I have created (in sketchup) a shading surface group , one per each external surface ,on the external windows.
I would like that this surfaces becomes an overhang. But in OS i see only a group of surfaces, i need an object.
How can I do? Do I have to use energy+?

I think in your case you should definitely check out the measure David mentioned, which is called "Add Overhangs by Projection Factor".
In OpenStudio all surfaces in a shading group will be translated as detailed site, building, or zone shading surfaces. You can't directly create "Shading:Overhang" or "Shading:Overhang"Projection" objects. The same is true for "Shading"Fin".
You can mimic some of the functionality in OpenStudio, for example using the a user script in the SketchUp Plugin to add overhangs by projection factor, or you could also add the objects as part of an EnergyPluse measure.
Just out of interest, what is your specific use-case for wanting an "Shading:Overhang" vs. a "Shading:Zone:Detailed" object. Just for some background, EnergyPlus has a number of ways to make surfaces (shading, sub, and base). We made a decision early on to just support they highest fidelity option. We thought this would give the most flexibility. Even the legacy plugin that just works with IDF files converts everything to detailed surfaces when you open it in the SketchUp Plugin.

I am attending a parametric design with Je+. In Je+ I can modify the idf file applying a list of value per each parameter that I consider. In this case, I have to vary the overhang's depth. Into idf file I have not the overhang as a object but a several groups of shading surfaces and for these I can't vary the depth.
So, I have drawn the model in sketchup, then I have setted the schedule and other in OS, now I have to define the parametric design, but I need to e+ to adjust some variables.
