can I model a vegetable greenhouse (hothouse) in energyplus?

I need to simulate energy consumption for a greenhouse, so i need to know weather it is possible for me or not to simulate it by energyplus?

Yes,Can simulate, I saw it in a paper, I also want to do it, but I don't know how to set the position coordinates of the greenhouse film in E+? Have you made it?

I also am interested in modeling passive solar greenhouses. I also have access to a couple of years of performance data from one design (which included a built in a climate battery). This can be used for calibration, and we can also get some current data for validation.

Do you have a citation for the paper you mentioned? Are there people who would be willing to help with this part of the project?

As a note, my intent is to apply some ML for multi-criteria optimization to tweak the design for 50+ year local climate change predictions. I have used the ML and AI tools elsewhere.

It may be possible to model a greenhouse using EnergyPlus but I don't know if anyone has done so and compared it to the actual performance of a greenhouse. A greenhouse is an extreme example of solar loads, natural ventilation, high conductivity, high mass, and latent loading. EnergyPlus has models that can model each of those phenomena well but by combining them, it is possible that the model would not be very accurate.

Hi!!

I'm also trying to do a temperature simulation of a green house with energy plus. Can you tell me if you finally could do the simulation? and if you achieve it, how did you do it?

Thanks :)
