Hi, does anyone know how to model daylight control in Energy Pro? There doesn't seem to be an option for daylight control for each luminaire, there are only "Occ Sensor-Partial On", "Dimming-Manual", "Demand Responsive" and other, but no daylight control.
Is there any way to model daylight control in Energy Pro?

For Title 24, Energy Pro employs the simplified geometry method rather than the detailed approach, which doesn't take into account the spatial awareness of elements (walls, roofs, etc.) and can't run the daylighting engine to calculate it properly so the option isn't available. That said, the baseline you are compared against will be a baseline with the same simplified geometry and also won't have daylighting controls so you aren't penalized for it. If your daylighting controls are above and beyond Title 24 prescriptive requirements then using Energy Pro will limit your ability to take credit for this.
Thanks! Is the baseline lighting controlled by any other options rather than daylight? Since I have been seeing a lower lighting energy use for the baseline although the proposed LPD is 80% of the baseline LPD (I put luminaire in each room). Any reasons why that happens? Thanks!
@YC, you need to look at the non-residential ACM to find out what the standard (baseline) design will have as far as controls is concerned. The baseline usually has prescriptive controls. You can find this in the CBECC-Com Data folder that comes with the CBECC-Com installation or from the CEC website here.
