idfversion updater for reference buildings EP-7.2

The Energy.gov has all the .idf files updated to version 7.2 based on regions. I tried one of the buildings to convert using the updater included in EP-8.3, which failed with a statement that the converter 7.2 to 8.2 is not unavailable. Unfotunately I can't find any of the updater addons on EERE, or big ladder or energyplus site. Can anyone share the location of such old version updaters or any other trick to batch update these to 8.2.

I think you're looking for this? Multiple IDF Version Translator.

It has the required utilities all the way back to EnergyPlus 1.0.

Make sure you check the "audit" file created on translation if you end up having problems, it's likely to tell you which objects may not have been translated correctly or got a default value that could be inappropriate.
