Modeling Slab Insulation in OS

Does anyone know how to model slab insulation in OS? Because the insulation is only for 24" around the perimeter I was not sure how to model this. Do you just mess with the insulation on the construction until you get the correct F-Factor? Also, there is a F-factor Ground Floor Constructions drop down under the Library now, but nothing is in it. Also, it appears all of the slab constructions on the BCL do not have exterior insulation.

Typically (at least in the past) you would run slab as a pre-processor to generate temperatures for the outside face of the slab. The pre-process accounts for the isolation, which is why our templates for default slab constructions don't have any insulation. We have two AEDG Slab and Basement measures for school and office that use the preprocessor.

We have not yet written a new measure to use the integrated slab and basement in EnergyPlus 8.2 and 8.3.

Any updates on this? I am running OpenStudio 2.9.1. I can create a new "F-Factor Ground floor construction" and input the F-factor directly, but will that work correctly when dropped into a construction set as the Ground Contact Surface Construction for the floor?
