There are three possible ways to add a window:

1. Open the openstudio space and draw a closed polygon inside a wall
2. Draw a closed polygon close to the wall but without opening the space and the use the tool "Project Loose Geometry".
3. Use the OpenStudio User Script "Set Window to Wall Ratio".

You can add a frame with the OpenStudio User Script "Set Windows Property Frame and Divider".
