I am trying to add a ground-source heat pump to an EnergyPlus model for both heating and cooling, with GroundHeatExchanger, namely a vertical borehole. Is there a template or a simplified (may one-zone) IDF model?

Also, does EnergyPlus account for the long-term effects on soil temperature that will result from unbalanced heating and cooling loads?
