I i am trying to use reinforcement learning to develop the control settings for a thermostat. To to do this, I i need a programmatic way to run an energy simulation one step at a time, access the current state of the model and possibly change some settings at each step.

Is is there a way to do this with EnergyPlus and/or OpenStudio?
