CHP + Absorption Chiller
I completed a model using the following element (and all the related objects):
- One AirTerminal:SingleDuct:VAV:HeatandCool:Reheat
- Boiler:HotWater
- Chiller:Electric:EIR
- CoolingTower:TwoSpeed
- WaterHeater:Mixed
The model run correctly and this is the basic case, now I want to implement a model that use a Internal Combustion Engine and an Absorption Chiller to cover the basic load. I will resize the Boiler and the Chiller to cover the peak load.
I completed the model with CHP and Absorption Chiller but I have a problem: the CHP always work at 100% and if I size it in a way that it cannot work at 100% for all the time the simulation fail (error on maximum temperature over the limit in the hot water loop).
Any idea on what I can do to fix this problem?

I completed the model thought to use Generator:MicroCHP and Chiller:Absorption, but I didn't find and example and this is the first time that I am trying to build a system with CHP and Absorption Chiller but I have a problem: the CHP always work at 100% and if I size it more energy sources.
My idea is to create the object Generator:MicroCHP and Chiller:Absorption with their loop and insert in a parallel in the existing loop.
I am thinking in a correct way that it cannot work at 100% or I am missing some fundamental aspects?
It's possible to use a heat exchanger for all the time the simulation fail (error on maximum temperature over the limit in the hot water loop).
Any idea on what I can do to fix this problem?the DHW loop instead of a Boiler?
