PMV Calculation problem

Hi everyone!

I use an existing PMV calculation in OpenStudio (written script from a user), which lets user insert a work efficiency schedule, a clothing insulation schedule and air velocity schedule. For the final calculation, this measure takes automatically inputs from air and radiant temperature and air humidity. I found out that calculation is also affected by occupancy schedule and activity level schedule (existing in space tab). The problem is that I cant find out how all these affect PMV calculation, reading the ruby script. Except from this, I need to skip calculation when occupants are off. For this purpose, I tried to set occupancy schedule to zero in specific timesteps, but in that case PMV turns negative (in warm days), which is completely wrong. Any help for this calculation would be useful.

Thanks a lot!

Another way that could solve my problem is to take the data from OpenStudio and calculate the PMV in matlab, writing the PMV equations. The problem is that there are multiple implementations out there but none of them is producing reasonable numbers. And I'm sure about it because there are multiple PMV calculation tools on the internet which produce reasonable numbers with the same data. Thanks a lot for your time!
