Dehumidifier for the pool in OpenStudio

Hi!

I want to use OperStudio to simulate a classic pool dehumidifier. This dryer should include an evaporator, condenser, compressor and fan as shown in the diagram. Unfortunately, I could not find a way to simulate such a device. Please tell me what are the ways to solve this issue.

DX dehumidifier

I simulated a pool dehumidification process using the Unitary DX Heat Pump. Do I understand correctly that in this case energy recovery does not occur:

  • The cooling coil cools the air and condenses the moisture and then the heating coil heats the air.
  • When cooling the coil, energy comes from outside thanks to the compressor. During heating, the energy of the electric heater is used.

Thank you.

@LicControl you used the desiccant tag, but didn't mention desiccant in your post. Is the dehumidifier using a vapor-compression cycle with a desiccant?

I mean a classic dryer with an evaporator, compressor and freon condenser. It's possible that my English is not very good and I misused the term. Sorry.

It may be necessary to use this EnergyPlus object: ZoneHVAC:Dehumidifier:DX . If so, what is the correct way to add this object to OpenStudio. Perhaps there is such a measure, or it must be written from scratch.
