Will EnergyPlus update the heat flow values of building envelopes when changing their R-values?

Will EnergyPlus update the heat flow values of building envelopes when changing their R-values? I am trying to see if EnergyPlus can automatically update the heat flow (flux) values of building envelopes as the outdoor weather conditions changes.

If one activates the desired options, then yes. One EnergyPlus option is MaterialProperty:VariableThermalConductivity, which is reset as a function of its temperature at each time step. Another option to consider is MaterialProperty:HeatAndMoistureTransfer:ThermalConductivity.
