I want to demonstrate role of user behaviour by integrating new usage schedules based on its user behaviour ( controlling lights and opening windows ) when user are present/absent. I appreciate recommendations

In first step of analysis, each zone’s temperature can be either constant or scheduled but for improvement scenario thermal zones will be scheduled according to user behavior. For example , in new usage schedule will be indicated outside break times and etc.

I often use Excel to develop schedules. This can make it easy to coordinate a group of schedules, such as thermostat, lighting, occupancy, HVAC equipment and miscellaneous plug loads. Below is an image showing data for a typical office schedule.

From these values, I can create multiple Schedule:Compact objects, and then copy-paste the text into my idf file.

If you want more detailed schedules, you can use the Schedule:File object.
