Failed sizing and HVAC measures

Running a basic, vanilla model before entering optimization options. Won't complete due to following error codes. Used v2.8 previously. Ran v3.0 models successfully. This is first new model to fail. Only using default HVAC options currently until I rebuild all my custom measures from v2.8.

Thanks for testing the BEopt v3 beta release and providing your project file. I was able to reproduce the issue and I believe I have a fix for it. Can you install this bugfix setup file? No need to uninstall the previous version first.

When you open your project file, go to the Options input screen and review the selected options for the Interzonal Walls category before rerunning simulations. Your bug was that this category was incorrectly not being displayed even though your building has an interzonal wall (wall between living space and garage), thus BEopt couldn't find what insulation level to apply and threw an error. Now the Interzonal Wall category is correctly displayed.

I started to rerun the model, but stopped/aborted it to double check the default setting for interzonal walls. I received this error message. After I reran the model, after checking defaults, there was no issue and provided normal outputs. Seems likely that it worked okay.

Hi,

I have the same issue too and tried to access the bugfix file given here, however, I was unable to do so as it says that the file has been removed Is there a way that I could get access to the bugfix file?

@Rohit Jogineedi The bugfix has been incorporated into the BEopt 3.0.1 release found at https://www.nrel.gov/buildings/beopt..... Can you try that version?

@shorowit I did use BEopt 3.0.1. Also, to add to this note, the same model when simulated did not encounter any issue at a different location. I faced this issue when running the model for Buffalo, NY and New York, NY weather files.
