questions about solatube

Good morning, Into the pluggin of OPENSTUDIO in SURFACE TYPE and the option SUB SURFACE TYPE , have two options: Tubular Daylight Diffuser and Tubular Daylight Dome, Are these options a model of solatube?, and if it's true, How I use these options?

Those inputs are for modeling solatube type products. However, OpenStudio does not yet have the ability to fully model these objects yet. They are on our list to add in the nearish future.

Then, as I understand, any option you choose between "Skylight, TubularDaylightDome or TubularDaylightDiffuser" will not change anything in the simulation results?

Those fields will change which construction is used for a surface from a default construction set. Other than that I don't believe those fields will currently do anything in a simple simulation. Any measures that you run on the model may change their operation based on how surfaces are classified.
