Sloped Green Roofs

Hello everybody, as I already know EnergyPlus' Input Output Reference says that the EcoRoofModel "is not recommended for high-sloped exterior surfaces (e.g., walls)" (p.235). But my question is does the software consider the roof pitch at all or not? If so, then probably just about geometry. But unfortunately I didn't find any information about this so far.

Thanks for help and hints!

Its core energy budget model is derived from Frankenstein & Koenig's FASST (US Army CoE), which initially deals with vehicle and personnel movement over vegetated soils. For instance, there are height adjustments (convection) with respect to soil/canopy, which one expects to remain ~valid for sloped terrain. Not so much for near-vertical surfaces, I suspect. I defer to experienced users and/or model authors for an official answer :].
