OpenStudio vertex size mismatch

Hi there,

I am new to OpenStudio and am using it to model a 6 apartment residential building. I created the geometry in OpenStudio using Floorspace JS. Upon running the model, I get the following severe error:

* Severe * RoofCeiling:Detailed="SURFACE 6", Vertex size mismatch between base surface :SURFACE 6 and outside boundary surface: FACE 91 * ~~~ * The vertex sizes are 6 for base surface and 7 for outside boundary surface. Please check inputs.

I have 6 of the same severe errors (vertex size mismatch). The two surfaces are the ceiling of the bottom story and then the floor of the bedroom on the second story. To try solve this, I tried applying the BCL Surface Matching measure but this didn't seem to help. I am really struggling to fix this problem in OpenStudio as similar questions and answers around this issue only addressing fixing the problem in SketchUp not OpenStudio.

Is there a simple solution to fix this issue or will I need to recreate the geometry of the model?

Thanks.

Hello there. I have the same problem with my model. Can you tell me how you fixed this error?

You can open the .osm file in any text editor and make sure the surface vertices are matching. Additionally, here are more troubleshooting tips you can try to possibly solve the issue: https://unmethours.com/question/37134...
