Air distribution with separate zones for supply and return air
Hi all,
For air distribution using AirLoopHVAC, I need to set the supply and return air to the same zone. I would like to simulate airflow with supply air in zones 1 and 2 and return from zones 3 and 4.
I have tried to create the same situation as above by setting the cross-sectional area of the ducts in the return paths of zones 1 and 2 and the supply paths of zones 3 and 4 to almost zero. Please let me know if there is another appropriate method.

@yoshiwara what simulation tool are you using? Please mention it in the title or body of your post, as well as add a tag so that others can provide better help. It sounds like EnergyPlus, based on your use of "AirLoopHVAC", but it would be good to confirm.
