I am getting this error on simulating while designing a VAV system with water cooled chiller from scratch:
"Building 1 - Outdoor air system component is missing a setpoint manager: Air Loop AHU Outdoor air system Building 1 - Error in HVAC definition"
ANY input WILL BE HIGHLY appreciated!!
Looks like you are using EnergyPlus.
For AirLoop:HVAC, you must have a SetpointManager on the supply outlet node. You may also need setpoint managers on outdoor air components, depending on the options modeled. For example, some ERVs can be controlled to maintain a temperature at their supply air outlet, but in order to do so, they need a SetpointManager on this outlet.
If you can give more details about your AirLoop, such as a one-line diagram including names of each EnergyPlus component, I can give a more detailed answer.
