how can I change the cooling setpoints in EnergyPlus to apply precooling strategies?

retag add tags

I would like to change the cooling set-points in the IDF file to apply and test pre-cooling strategies. What is the best way to reduce the setpoints by 5 degrees from 10 am to 4 pm, increase setpoint by 2 degrees from 4pm to 8 pm and keep it at original setpoints for the remaining time.

change the temperature schedule referenced by the ThermostatSetpoint object.
