How can I add a BCL component (e.g. condensing boiler. XML file), in OpenStudio components?

I downloaded from the BCL web site and I don't know where to paste it so that it appears in OS.

If you download the component using the OpenStudio Application it will show up in your library view. Alternatively, if you download the component using a web browser and unzip it, if there is a an OSM inside you can use File->Load Library to load it into the the OpenStudio Application's library tab.

I did want to just extend the answer to point out that those specific components are XML only, and I believe were made for a tablet based auditing tool that converts the high level data in XML to an OSM downstream.

Thank you. The problem is that there are only components with XML extension. It does not come with the OSM file. Therefore, I don't know where it is copied to appear in the OpenStudio tab.

If the components are XML only then they were created for another application (e.g. not OpenStudio). You might be able to open the XML files in a text editor or web browser, you might be able to figure out how to map the contents of the XML file to the parameters of the corresponding OpenStudio model object manually.
