OpenStudio-SketchUp Plugin Saving Problem
Hello,
I don't know why this keeps happening to me. Your Help would be greatly appreciated. When I create the building it consists of 3 stories as shown on the "before.jpg", but whenever I save the model as a "*.osm" file and open it again, all the levels collapse into 1st level and the whole model moves into the origin.
Thanks in advance.

That is very strange, can you provide more context of how the upper story spaces were made? If I'm understanding the upper floors were not deleted but their zone origin z value was changed to 0. I also see that while every space didn't move to the model origin x.y values, the entire building did move over some (or the SketchUp origin was changed which is also possible). Lastly, what happens when view the model in the OpenStudio application. If you move the spaces back up save the model again, as new name, and open close and open it, do they say in place this time?
David, 1st and 2nd floors were created using "Create Spaces From Diagram" Since the Third floor is different, it was drawn on the 2nd-floor roof surface and used "Create Spaces From Diagram" again. Yes, the whole building is moved to the origin. And yes I have tried saving in different names other than replacing it over and over. Still the results are the same. I think I have tried everything I possibly can at this time. And openstudio application opens the file as the after picture.
I tried a small scale (3 space building) with similar features (3rd floor positioned differently) it works. But not the building I need. The building showing in the above pics is about 400x250ft scale roughly and consists of about 60 spaces. Is SketchUp-openstudio plugin crashes because of the size of the building?
Before it was opening but with spaces, but now are you saying it is crashing. Is it crashing when you open the OSM or perform some operation on it? I don't think it would crash because of the model size, I think something else is happening. Do any errors come up in the ruby console?
David, The building wasn't opening properly at all after saving. All those problems I mentioned in the problem statement start after I save the building as an openstudio model. Sorry for the late reply I was on vacation.
