Setting different heating/cooling setpoint temperatures and humidification/dehumification setpoints over the year

Hi,

I am new user of DesignBuilder (v 6.1). For a project, I am trying to set different heating and cooling setpoint temperatures and humidification/dehumidification setpoints over the year for an archive/museum storage in Detailed HVAC model options. The final objective is to set different setpoints for each month for both to see the impact on energy load.

Please let me know if anyone know this.

Hi, You can use a schedule for heating/cooling/humidification/dehumidification setpoints in DesignBuilder with the option "2-Detailed HVAC Data" (Model Options (F11) > Data > HVAC > Detailed HVAC Activity data).

More information on HVAC data entry: https://designbuilder.co.uk/helpv6.0/....

Hi Jan, What I understood from your answer, I can create a custom schedule like turning on/off HVAC Systems with custom schedules (Ex: Shutting down in night or weekends). However, I am trying to achieve something a bit different. I want to perform an annual simulation where I have 12 different HVAC setpoints (temperature and humidity values) for 12 different months, basically varied setpoint values over the year

With the "2-Detailed HVAC Data" option, you can create a schedule containing setpoint temperatures (in °C) in the "Edit Zone Group" dialogue. In the schedule, you can have different temperatures for each month.
