Open Studio Application Error
Hi I hope you and your colleagues are well and healthy I have installed the software(Open studio 9.4 , Open studio Application and PAT) on Windows 7- 64 bits, but when running the software, I receive this error message which start with : "Measure manager has crashed attempting to star.ruby:unexpected return,error : unknown encoding name -CP720..... I receive while I have installed the same software at home and no problem was created, please help. Thank you for your follow-up With respect A.h.Mirsayafi

@A.h.mirsayafi there isn't an OpenStudio Application version 9.4, but there is an EnergyPlus version 9.4 that is used by the latest OpenStudio Application version 1.1.0 from the OpenStudio Coalition. Is that the version of the OpenStudio Application that you are trying to install on Windows 7?
Also, what specific step causes this error to occur (applying a measure to an open model, running a simulation, etc.)?
It looks like this post has already asked this question related to the OpenStudio Application crashing with an error message mentioning "unknown encoding name -CP720". Would it be ok to close this post and you make a comment there that you're having the same issue?
