I have a doubt about Sizing:System / Design Outdoor Air Flow Rate documentation

On https://bigladdersoftware.com/epx/doc... we can read that about the "Design Outdoor Air Flow Rate" field of "Sizing:System" object:

The design outdoor air flow rate in cubic meters per second. Generally this should be the minimum outdoor air flow.

Can someone please confirm that there is no error in the documentation and that "minimum outdoor air flow" is correct?

I believe that is not an error; it should be the minimum outdoor air flow rate. Typically there is no concern for increased flows of outdoor air when outside temperatures are favorable (e.g. outdoor air economizing). The minimum outdoor air flow rate is important to specify for providing sufficient ventilation to occupants, and satisfying indoor air quality (IAQ) standards such as ASHRAE 62.1.

Alternatively, and perhaps more commonly, this field can be set to "Autosize", and ventilation requirements are instead specified in DesignSpecification:OutdoorAir objects for each zone.
