How can I get a desired temperature at the air outlet of heating coil?

I tried a controller water coil but it does not work, I got a message that heating coil is not on a primary air loop or a branch. Is there any other solution?

What type of heating coil (gas, hot water, electric, etc.) are you trying to control?

Where is this heating coil located (central air handler, zone equipment like a PTAC, etc.)?

It is a hot water coil located after the zone return air for the regeneration of desiccant. I want that the heating coil air outlet remain at a setpoint temperature.

Hmm, perhaps adding an image to your post to show a diagram of the HVAC system would help out. It sounds like you want to heat the return air leaving a zone before it goes back to a central air handler. Is that correct?

Yes, it is right!

@maria123098 I don't believe that EnergyPlus will allow you to heat the return air directly leaving a zone. If this zone is part of a central air system, you can certainly heat the final mixed return air from all zones before the outdoor air mixer and other central components (heating, cooling, fan, etc.). Again, if you can update your post to include a diagram of the HVAC system you want to model, that would be very helpful.
