I am trying to run a simple model for envelope evaluation using openStudio. I used Ideal load and the only load is showing in energy plus results is the District heating load, no cooling load even with the 2A climate zoen (arizona). Does anybody know a solution for this?
@Houri thanks for sharing. You are using Ideal Loads correctly and applying a reasonable cooling thermostat schedule, but the big issue with your model is that you have not properly defined the space types -- all inputs in the General and Loads sections are blank (see below). This means OpenStudio doesn't assign any internal gains (people, lighting, receptacles) or schedules for when those internal gains occur.
On this topic, it also looks like you have assigned "Space 101" to "Thermal Zone: Space 102" and vice versa (see below). You can update this by dragging and dropping the correct Thermal Zone from the My Model panel on the right.
Another issue is that your design days at the bottom of the Site tab are set for Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota instead of Arizona.

Did you checked Cooling Set Point Manager value? What Cooling sistem did you set? You have to share more info do get help
