I am analyzing the output data 'water heater source temperature inlet' in a simulation with a solar collector, when extracting the values ​​I noticed that at a certain time the temperature drops considerably and then increases again. What can cause this sudden drop in temperature?

If your source side of the water heater is connected to a solar collector, are the temperature drops occuring at night? Perhaps the solar collector pump is operating at night for some reason.

Hello Aaron! Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it is connected to a solar collector, the temperature drop starts at 8 am, goes to about 20°C and at 9 am it starts to rise. I'm reading the program's input output, there it is about thermostat and temperature control of us, I'm reviewing the simulation, but so far I haven't figured out what the problem is. If you find out something, please let me know.

It's hard to say without looking at your model. Is this in a time of year where the sun hasn't risen by 9 AM? Or is this every day of an annual simulation? You should have enough karma points to add images to your question post, it would be great to add a line chart showing the outputs you're referencing. Also, this post will likely be useful.
