green roof simulation crashes [closed]
hello, energy plus 8.2 stops working, when i simulate a simple green roof. it crashes when it starts the simulation. i have put 20 number of timesteps per hour do i need to give site precipitation info. doesnt get that info from the .epw file? what is the problem? please help...

Also, just to clarify, is EnergyPlus crashing, or is your simulation just failing? If the simulation is just failing please add some of the epusout.err file to your post, in particular the severe and fatal errors. The first thing that jumps at me is 20 time steps per hour, would certainly slow things down more than the typical 4 or 6 time steps per hour.
