eQuest: how to take a "bite" out of the building envelope?

I've finished the building shells. I made an error in the building. There is a 8 meter x 8 meter "notch" in the building that I didn't model properly. How can I remove this shape in detailed mode? Thanks

It might help if you can share a picture or some details of the geometry that you are trying to change.

Once you are in the detailed mode, you can select a surface that you would like to remove, then do a right click, and then click Delete. Here's an example:
