how to get the electricity consumption by the HVAC system if I use ideal load air system? what is the best way to calculate zone load using energyplus?

Ideal is ideal, who says it is electrical? Yuo can find results in ABUPS report under District Clg and Htg (runperiod energy need). For need trends you have to ask for ideal load related output:variable

And yes, Ideal Load Air System is the best way to calculate zone load.
