How to set humidity source in Energy+ ?
Hi, I would like to input [gH2O/h] in Energyplus simulation to take into account production of humidity such as shower, cooking, tumble dryer on humidity balance of a thermal zone. What is the best way? Example: For a shower I would like to input 300g/h within half an hour. Thank you.

Haave you tried the
SteamEquipmentobject in E+? You can specify your gains in Watts and then set a 100% latent fraction, but you´ll need to convert your gH2O/h into Watts. I´m not sure if there is a more direct method.The appendix 6.A1 of CIBSE Guide A has latent heat gain values for cooking appliances, reproduced from ASHRAE Handbook: Fundamentals (2013a).
Thank you for this suggestion Rafael, I don't have the 2013a Ashrae or the Cibse guide to see how they define latent heat gain for diverse appliance or use. Could you share them ? Don't know if this forum allow private message.
