Unacceptable heat transfer coefficient values

Dear Community,

I have modeled a simple shading system over a single window (venetian blinds) with a glare control on it, but when I output the Hcv on hourly basis, there are some hours that Hcv value is equal to 1000 between the shading system and outer layer of the window!

It seems there is sth wrong within the idf file but I could not find any clue.

Your help is highly appreciated on this issue.

Regards Amir

Refer to the E+ engineering documentation on exterior convection where it says:

Note that when the outside environment indicates that it is raining, the exterior surfaces (exposed to wind) are assumed to be wet. The convection coefficient is set to a very high number (1000) and the outside temperature used for the surface will be the wet-bulb temperature. (If you choose to report this variable, you will see 1000 as its value.)
