Trane Trace 700 - central geothermal system

There are three different types of central geothermal systems: 2-pipe distribution (heating-cooling changeover); 4-pipe (simultaneous heating and cooling), and multi-chiller/heater cascade. Trane Trace 700 user manual includes the step by step procedure to model the multi-chiller/heater cascade system. But not mention any other two options. Does anyone know how to model all three types of system in Trane Trace 700?

I would always recommend that users reach out to the C.D.S. Support Center for help with questions about TRACE 700, TRACE 3D Plus, or our other design software programs. This is the best approach to getting quick and accurate resolutions to the questions and issues that you encounter. CDSHelp@trane.com or call 608-787-3926 Hours of operation are 8am - 5:30pm Mon - Thurs, 8am-5pm Fri

Our support website is also a great resource to search out information on these topics. For this specific question, here is a link to the search results on the topic of [ground source heat pumps].(https://tranecds.custhelp.com/app/answers/list/kw/ground%20source%20heat%20pumps/search/1)

The User's Manual is also provided in electronic format with every install of the program. It can be found and pulled up by selecting the Documentation section under the Help drop down menu item in the program menu options. Sections 3-79 Ground-source heat-pump system and 3-79 Central geothermal chillers provide step by step instructions to walk you through configuring these systems/plants in the program.
